We went to the Museum of Nature & Science for a field trip last week. We really enjoyed it, but it was a long day. We had to take RTD instead of a school bus, because the organizer didn’t order the buses in time. The driver of the RTD bus called out sick & didn’t bother to tell anyone. There were 125 of us 2nd graders waiting at the bus stop for an hour baking in the sun. Once we finally got there, it was fun. We had to cross a couple of busy streets, though to get back on the bus, which Mom was not very happy about. Fortunately, we all made it home safely! We were exhausted, though.
