We are on our way back down to the pond in hopes of catching some fish. Unfortunately, the weather only got worse. We headed back up to camp, had lunch under a canopy & then it started dumping. The rain turned to hail & then turned to snow. We were all sitting in different tents/cars, etc., laughing about the weather. Dad finally decided to go ask at the check-in (we didn’t have cell reception) what the weather forecast looked like. They said it was supposed to hail/snow until 4 am. This was at 2 pm. We decided to hit the road. We packed it up, headed back to our house & had dinner there while sitting by the fire. We enjoyed microwave s’mores, which were just as delicious as the roasted marshmallows. We will try again in a week!
