We saw crawdads, turtles, tadpoles, frogs, & fish in the pond. We then decided to go for a hike. The hike crosses over a creek. We originally tried to cross it without getting our shoes all wet. That didn’t last long.

We met Jason, Carlee, Clara, Isaac, Zeek & Tristan down at the bottom of McHose park at Frog/ Turtle pond. It was pretty awesome. Can you see the frog on the log?

Mom ran a 5K for a benefit for Aunt Lis’s friend. Here she is pre-race with Aunt Lis & 2nd Cousin Erin. She & Aunt Lis came in at 29 minutes & were both pretty happy with it (particularly considering there was no training involved).

Well, somebody was tired! He fell asleep on the bench waiting for everyone at the exit. Wyatt rode the Tornado, which is a pretty big roller coaster, 3 times!! He was pretty proud of himself & Mom was thrilled. She’s hoping for a companion on the coasters.

We all went to Adventureland together on Sunday & we woke up a little early (& excited). Mom decided to let us watch a little t.v. before we had to leave. She did not get a single picture from the trip. She’s hoping she will get some from our Aunts. 

We spent many a night/day at the ballpark. And when we were there, we always had at least 2 games to watch at the same time. I got to keep score on the scoreboard at Clara’s game. I would have stayed for the next game just to keep score if Mom would have let me.…

Zeek, Caden & I rode our bikes over to Great Grandma & Grandpa Pearson’s house. Grandpa got sick a few months ago & isn’t the same. Usually he will come see us, but not this trip. Mom likes to be able to have a conversation with them & so she let me play on her…

After the castle park, we went to see the Croods at the dollar theater in Ames.
