Mom took me out of school today just for fun. We went & picked up our cousin Jack & headed to Georgetown Lake. We went fishing. Jack fly fishes & ties his own flies. I used a bobber. We caught 3 fish within the first 20 minutes of being there. Things started to slow a bit & we caught a couple more just before deciding to head home. It was pretty cold! We caught mostly rainbow trout & a brown trout. We sent them back into the water. It’s a good thing Jack was there. He had to help mom bait the hook with the worm & get the fish off the hook. She decided as soon as we got back into town, we were headed to Bass Pro Shop for lures & she was not going to be using live bait anymore. It was a pretty awesome day!
