We left Boca Raton & headed for the keys. We stopped at John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo. We were hoping to go snorkeling, but they were recommending anyone that goes out should take a motion sickness pill. Given 3 of 4 of us get motion sick, we opted against it. Instead we went kayaking in the mangroves, which was amazing! We couldn’t take our camera with us, but ran into Jon & Sara getting off their boat (glass bottom) & they took one of us. There were lots of trails through the mangroves & we could just go explore. We spent a couple hours exploring. At one point, we jumped in. We saw jelly fish, a crocodile, & lots of beautiful fish. Some of the trails we went through were so narrow, we had to put our paddles lengthwise in the boat while Mom & Dad steered through.
