We were hiking up from Bear Lake to Nymph Lake, Emerald Lake & Dream Lake. It’s about 4 miles round trip. We found out from the ranger at the bottom that it was pretty clear up to Nymph Lake, 50% snow cover to Dream Lake & almost 100% cover to Emerald Lake. We decided to give it a try. Every rock we came across on the way up that looked climbable, we decided to climb.
