Meet Vesuvius. He (or she, we won't know for a couple more months), is a crested gecko. It has no eyelids, but has what appear to be beautiful eyelashes that run down it's back. It licks it's eyes to clean them & eats dried fruit & crickets. Caden has one, too. His is named Yoshi (for now). We take them out to hold them for about 15 minutes a day. This helps get them used to being handled. They are really sweet.
