Saturday morning we woke up & we all planned to ride the gondola up & ride our bikes down. Dad had already bought our tickets to ride up & we were in line to get on the gondola. We get up to where they scan your ticket & they said my (Wyatt’s) bike could go, but Caden’s bike couldn’t. He only has one hand break & a back peddle break. They wouldn’t let him go. We went to 6 different bike shops to find a bike that would fit him with both front & rear handbrakes. None of them fit him, so he couldn’t go. Meanwhile, Mom & I decided to go. It was a tough ride down. There were a couple times I sat down next to my bike & told Mom I didn’t think I could do it. I started to turn around to ride back up the hill. Mom assured me that going down 4 miles would be easier than climbing up the 1. We kept going. I was so proud of myself when I got to the bottom. I am also a better rider because of it. After we got to the bottom, we went to find food & headed to the volleyball tournament.
