One of the best parts about Boone was going to the pool. We went to the pool most days we were there in the afternoon. I decided I wanted to go down the slide, but I was not tall enough. Mom told me to ask the lifeguard what I would have to do to be able to go on the slide. He said I had to swim across the deep end doing the front crawl & then tread water for 1 minute. I passed!!! I went down the slide over & over & over & over after that. Then I decided I was ready try the diving board. I did it!! I jumped off the diving board & it was so cool. Now when we go to the pool in Stapleton, we have to go to the pools with the diving boards. It’s the best!
