I was eating a PB & J and I think he could smell it. His nose started working as soon as I pulled it out.

  Check out the elephants. It was too cold for them to be outside.

  It snowed the night before and was still trying to melt. I was looking for the vultures, like the vulture from Horton Hears a Who. His names is Vladicuff. I think they’re pretty cool.

  It was a gorgeous day! I gave up my nap that morning and was happy to hang out in the stroller and check out all the animals.

  There was a baby giraffe born Feb 15, just 6 days old when we were there. It was so cool. It was learning to walk and was so clumsy. We all really enjoyed watching it. 

  I was looking for the lions who must have gone south for the winter. The hyenas are living there now.

  We went to the zoo with Uncle Ry, Bubba and Aunt Lissa. We had so much fun, especially Hendrix! 

   …Then go in for the bonk!
