I will be posting a whole bunch of pictures from Camp Granite Lake. We had a blast and left for camp the next day after the Avett concert.

It was an awesome show and great night with friends and family. 

We met Scott and Seth Avett’s dad. I (Caden) asked him if I could meet them. He said every minute of their day is accounted for when they are on tour. It was still pretty fun to meet him, though. 

We all went on Saturday. Dad headed up there around 8am and got an awesome spot in line. We showed up around 11 and brought games and more tents and set up in the parking lot. We also brought picnic lunches. We finally made it inside and had awesome seats!

Mom went to see the Avett Brothers at Red Rocks on Friday night with the girls. There was a crazy storm including hail, which left some bruises, but they had stood in line since 12, noon, and were not giving up their spot. It turned out to be an awesome concert.

We had some delicious snacks at the top including cheese and crackers and salami as well as peanut butter crackers, trail mix, apple sauce, bars, etc. 

I decided that I should get in the water with my pants on and t-shirt. I started just up to my knees, but by the time we left, I had fully submerged myself. It was cold water!

We went for an awesome hike on the 4th of July. We went to Lost Lake just outside of Nederland. The water was moving so fast! It was huge and crazy. I’m with my two best friends, Luke and Jesse. The Douglases and Johnsons joined us. 

We applied to adopt this little girl, Madge.
