We got a decent amount of snow and it continued to snow for a few days.  One of Diesel’s many looks. She looks like a chihuahua here. 

We made the most of it and went to Game Works for a couple of hours. We all (mostly Grandma) had a great time. 

The next day it snowed. all. day.

We met Marty, Vicki, Jack, Riley and Great Gram at the Beer Hall for lunch. It was gorgeous on Saturday. 

Grandma and Papa Iowa came out to visit for a weekend. Grandma wanted to hear us play violin, so we put on a little recital for her and Papa in the kitchen. 

This little girl stayed at Digstown while we were gone. She seemed to do okay there and she was very happy to see us when we got home. 

It was really cold in Glenwood, but we packed appropriately. We took the gondola to the top of the mountain and had hoped to ride several rides. They have a swing that goes out over a cliff and a roller coaster that skirts the edge. Unfortunately because of the cold and wind, they were closed.…

We took the train to Glenwood Springs for fall break. The train ride was beautiful, but the train was delayed two hours each way. We made the most of it and learned a thing or two about getting seats in the observation car.
