We went for a hike at Chattaqua & it was very busy & VERY hot! We picked a trail that was not shaded at all & we were overheating. We’re going to go back when it cools down or early one morning to beat the heat.

We went to the sledding hill in Stapleton to watch fireworks & we had an amazing view of the city. We could see fireworks in all directions. It was awesome!

But I had fun! We’re living it up this summer, getting to do a lot of fun things & going to the pool a bunch!

Unfortunately, I feel off the bleechers at the game & it did not go well. I was not happy. It scared me & it hurt. It left a couple marks & took me awhile to recover. I pretty much folded at the waste & my bottom fell through the crack first. Ouch!

Vicki invited us to come have a sleepover at their house. We had a BLAST! And it went really well. We stayed up late & watched cartoons. We all slept in the living room in our sleeping bags. We made sandwiched Riley. Mom & Dad brought donuts over the next morning to say thanks. We…

I’m pensive… but not for long!

That night, Marty, Vicki, Jack & Riley came over for a delicious dinner (that dad cooked!). We had a lot of water gun fights. We also went for several skates/bike rides around the block.

Clearly, we had a good time!

We stopped at the fountains in Northfield & had a little picnic. We were hoping for ice cream, but we misbehaved & had to go home. I’m making some funny face & mom has no idea what I am thinking.
