We’re having a little downtime before the family celebration.

We watched these two boys playing air hockey & clearly enjoyed it. Pearson had fun running with the big kids.

I’m heading down the big slide with Hendrix & Clara. We also ran through the obstacle course & popped bubbles.

On Thursday we headed to the Playground of Ankeny. It was freezing! Everyone went except Zeek & Tristan (who are probably too old for it). It was a very busy place.

Tristan, Pearson & Zeek were soon to follow. We did not have any visitors on Christmas day & mom was on the phone with everyone on Wednesday morning trying to find out who & when people were coming over. Soon after it was a party. 

Our first visitors were Marley & Hendrix. (Sorry Grandma about the pillows). 

And we are off! We are at the airport getting ready to take off. It snowed the night before & we weren’t sure how long it would take to get to the airport. We arrived 2 1/2 hours early. It was quiet & security was easy. We took advantage of the time & played on…

I also got a lego kit. I am getting so good at putting legos together. I put most of this together in one day, too. I built 7 cars! I still have some of the tower to put together.

I have been wanting General Greivous’ ship forever & I finally got it. I also put it together that day (before we opened any more gifts). I was on a mission. We decided to celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve because we were flying out early the next morning for Iowa. 

We made snowmen out of marshmallows, frosting, rolos, pretzels & chocolate chips. They were fun to make & delicious to eat! We also did a “how-to-eat a ginger bread cookie”. Our teacher followed our directions & we all forgot to mention anything about swallowing!
