  • There was a sidewalk chalk art festival going on called ArtSpace. We walked along the street to see everyone’s drawings. We happened to walk right by the Children’s Museum & could not pass it up. We could have stayed for hours. There were a lot of fun things to check out.

  • These were cannons that were actually used during the Alamo war. We thought that was pretty amazing. 

  • There was a man there making brooms & we enjoyed watching. Once he was finished with his broom, he set me up for a Harry Potter moment. Caden is in the background holding a sign that says “witch crossing”.

  • The forecast called for rain everyday we were going to be there. So far, the sun was shining & it was hot. We decided to take advantage & do our outdoor activities while it was nice. We watched the Alamo at the IMAX before visiting the real thing.

  • We headed to San Antonio last Friday night. Our flight left Denver at 7:40 & we arrived S.A. at 10:55 pm. I played on the iPad while we waited to get on our plane.
