We’re showing off our Menorahs that we made. We lit candles on Wednesday night with Aunt Meme, Micah, Jon, Sara, Luke, Lauren, & Papa & Grandma. 

We then took the train back to Penn Station to get on another train to head to NJ. Mom decided to stay in the city & hang out with her friend Michelle. 

We made a quick stop at the space area on the way out before heading to Patagonia.

On Monday morning, we took the train in to NYC. We went to the Museum of Natural History. They had a really cool whale exhibit visiting from New Zealand. We also saw Dark Universe in the Planetarium. We are playing dreidel with Grandma. We wanted to play since the minute we got there. Originally, the plan was that we wait for everyone to be there on Wednesday to play, but after a couple days of our continuous asking, we sat down to play.

I have really been wanting to go to Washington’s Headquarters. On Sunday, we made it happen. It was very cold & windy. We learned a lot about his stay there over the winter & how the house was filled with his men. It was hard for us to imagine!

We flew to New Jersey last Saturday for Thanksgiving. That afternoon, we headed to the Morris Museum to see the Lego exhibit. We also checked out the dinosaurs, train, musical instruments, and rocks.

Every year, our school invites parents to come eat with their kids for a Thanksgiving meal. It’s usually on Friday & Mom can’t come. This year it was on Wednesday & she came to eat a yummy turkey dinner with us. 

Mom and I had a little date the other night. We went out to dinner in Boulder & then to a dance performance. I had rootbeer & water. I thought if I mixed them, it would taste delicious. I was wrong!

We had a couple days off from school last week & it was very quiet downstairs, which often means trouble. When mom came down this time, I was sitting here writing a story in my journal & Caden was laying on the floor reading a book.
