We made it to Dream Lake. We had fun climbing on the rocks here & stopped for a little snack, trail mix & beef jerky. We also saw a trout in the lake & the 100% snow cover began.

The trail curves on the way up to Dream Lake & it walks right by the water which was flowing so fast from all the snow melt & rain we’ve been getting.

Before we even got to the other side of Nymph Lake came the snow cover. Don’t think it stopped us. We made the absolute most of it!

We were hiking up from Bear Lake to Nymph Lake, Emerald Lake & Dream Lake. It’s about 4 miles round trip. We found out from the ranger at the bottom that it was pretty clear up to Nymph Lake, 50% snow cover to Dream Lake & almost 100% cover to Emerald Lake. We decided to…

Once breakfast was cleaned up, we hit the road for a hike.

The next morning, we picked up right where we left off. We had a fire, eggs & bacon & more rock climbing.

After dinner in town, we came back to the campsite for more climbing & s’mores.

We had the best campsite. There were two sites off on their own, tucked in behind a pile of rocks. We had so much fun playing on the rocks. We played Clash of Clans & Harry Potter. After awhile, we headed into Estes Park for dinner. We decided to go out in celebration of the…
