• There weren’t a ton of food options during the week for lunch, but we were all pretty hungry. There were hot dogs for a reasonable price & that’s what we all ate. We played on the playground while Mom & Evelyn waited for food.

  • We road along this brick sidewalk through a courtyard with amazing houses.

  • It’s a beautiful view of NYC!

  • Governor’s Island offers free bike rentals from 10-12. We headed straight there & had a blast cruising around the island. It was hard to believe where we were.

  • We saw the Statue on our way to Governor’s Island. Mom really wanted to get a picture with us & the Governor’s Island sign.

  • I let Mom take my picture & so she took advantage.

  • Fun on the boat!

  • I can barely walk by a statue/sculpture now without inserting myself. Wyatt & Jonathan are waiting for the ferry.

  • Thursday morning, we woke up, had eggs & toast for breakfast & headed for the train. We were heading down to the Governor’s Island for a ferry that left at 10:00. We showed up at 10:03. We had an hour to kill & decided to walk over to the fort again.

  • We had walked down to the Battery hoping to see the fort, but it was closed by the time we got there.  I climbed in the window to see inside. After all that walking, we decided to head back up to the apartment & order pizza.
