It was beautiful & we were all troopers.

We went for a hike with the Johnsons last Sunday. It was only approx 6 miles RT, but it was a stair stepper, 2500 feet elevation gain. It was Green Mountain Lookout in Boulder.

We celebrated my birthday (very minimally) & I got this awesome Walcot jersey from Papa & Grandma NJ. I’ve worn it every day that it hasn’t been in the wash.

We went to the pool one last time before they close for the season. I put on my own sunscreen. Think I got enough?

We went to feed the birds. We got there early & they were really hungry. We didn’t get any more pictures from when Grandma was here. We took her to Ihop & Country Buffet, which she did not love. Thanks for coming out to take care of us!

We left the next morning & headed back to Colorado. Grandma came with us. She came out to stay with us for the weekend while Mom & Dad went to Salida for a music festival. The gorilla was really funny. He was totally entertaining us!

And then came the rain!! It didn’t stop us from having a good time, though.

Tristan Clara I learned how to ride no-handed! I was pretty excited about this & you can see I have to concentrate pretty hard when I do it. 

Grandma & Carlee Marley & Grayson Uncle Kelly & Zeek Of course we had to have another get together before we left Iowa. We had everyone over to Grandma & Papa’s for root beer floats. They were delicious! Everyone brought their own set of wheels, the adults brought out lawn chairs & we rode up…

The water was a little deeper on this side of the road. We had fun jumping off into the water. You can see me in orange shorts in the middle picture. I got some pretty good air!
