The Boone kids had school Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday after we arrived. We went & had lunch with them on Monday & played outside for their recess. Papa was a good sport & let us throw snowballs at him. He was coming out to refill the bird feeders.

When we arrived in Iowa, the grass was still green & it looked like fall. Just before Christmas day, a snow storm came through, giving us a white Christmas. It was beautiful. The best part was we didn’t have to go anywhere. 

Tristan came over & we enjoyed sharing the couch & watching movies with him.
