This is Scoob. She was the last one to come back from the vet (along with Max). It took her a few days yet to recover after being there. She was so skinny! She was adopted by our neighbors so we still get to see her and Hurley and Diesel play out front with her…

This is Hurley. We ended up adopting her.   

And we managed to figure out how to get along.   

Reef! She was done nursing pretty much as soon as she got in to our house. Poor Diesel got snapped at quite a bit by Reef. She was very protective of her babies even though she was done nursing.   

We had to take Eddy to the vet in Colorado Springs because he wasn’t doing very well. Soon, they would all take a turn down there.   

Eddy/O’Neill who we lost to Parvo.  There will be lots of pictures of puppies. This was the first night. We had seven puppies and their mama Reef.   

After our long hike, we went out to dinner and sat outside. And of course, ice cream for dessert.   

As soon as we got to the top, Mom fell and hurt her knee. She was able to walk out, but by the end of the trail, couldn’t put any pressure on it. The next morning she ended up at urgent care, on crutches and a brace.   

Everyone else turned around before we got to the end. Mom and I kept going, though. I decided I wanted to finish the trail. We came across this ruin along the way.  

The wild flowers were in full bloom.
