We took a little break. It was hot & we ran around a bunch.

The game took a couple turns. Clearly this is not how one plays soccer, but it was fun!

We enjoyed a family soccer game on Aunt Lissa’s side yard.

Zeek & Alishea were helping with Grayson who was having a blast going down the slide.

I enjoyed playing catch with Aunt Jo-Jo, who threatened bad things to Mom if she posted a picture of her. I enjoyed a huge piece of cake & ice cream. The cake was made by Jody’s sister, Jen. And once again, there’s this little guy playing soccer.

Apparently, this is how birthdays go in Iowa. We aren’t home for them very often, but they are a ton of fun & everyone comes!

This was Mom & my ride while we were in Iowa. Unfortunately, when we fly we don’t get to bring our bikes & we don’t have a car. This worked just fine, though!

Pearson & I were waiting for Marley’s birthday party to begin, so we busied ourselves out on the bridge. We were looking for frogs, but found snails instead!

We moved our soccer game to the front of the house & mostly just passed the ball around.
