• One of our fishing poles broke altogether & the other one kept losing the bobber & then catching on the rocks at the bottom. We decided to get in the (freezing cold!) water to try & untangle the hook. Then we moved on to just picking up rocks & looking for minnows.

  • We stopped at Jackson Lake near Colter Bay to fish. We had fun casting, but fortunately for Mom & Dad, we didn’t catch anything.

  • We had plenty of time so we took some side trips. We took a windy road up to Signal Mountain Summit. A very nice couple offered to take a picture of all four of us & we took advantage.

  • I was happy to pose for pictures, while Wyatt preferred to run away. This is the Grand Teton behind me.

  • We took the scenic route from Jackson to our cabin at Headwater’s Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch. Our first stop was at Jenny Lake where we walked around a bit & put our feet in the water.

  • We got back from Iowa & pretty much turned around to head to Yellowstone. We got a hotel the first night in Pinedale, WY. The next morning, we ate breakfast at a local joint & headed for Jackson. This picture is taken in the Jackson town square.

  • We headed over to the middle school, which is a couple blocks from Papa & Grandma’s. They still had their big goals up, so we had fun playing a game of shooting on goal. We had a great trip back to Iowa. We were sad that Wyatt wasn’t with us, but we’ll be back soon!

  • We went back to Papa & Grandma’s & played outside. There were lots of snails in the water out back & we were having fun digging for them. We also attempted a family photo.

  • We met Papa & Grandma up at the bakery for breakfast & then headed over to Hendrix & Marley’s house to play some baseball.

  • Pearson watched Marley ride her bike feeling a little bummed he didn’t bring his with. Tristan is on his phone doing who knows what.
