• We were also there for Memorial Day Mass which happens under a big tent out at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. We visited both our Great Grandpa’s graves while we were out there.

  • We all sat outside a bunch while the kids played in the backyard. They put on the play from the basement for everyone outside. 

  • Meanwhile, Wyatt was at home hanging with all of his friends having a good time.

  • Our cabin did not have wifi or a TV, which Mom was super excited about. However, we were still able to use our devices. Each night we were able to play on our devices for a little bit before going to sleep.

  • That night we drove up Grassy Lake Road again in hopes of finding an animal. We did! We saw this brown bear (we’re pretty sure it was a grizzly) hanging out in a grassy field. We totally spooked him & he darted off before we could get a picture. We turned around to see if…

  • We had a terrible lunch by the boat ramp & spent some time throwing rocks & wading in the lake. We decided we were done with the terrible food in & near the park & headed to Jackson for dinner. On our way, we ran into this guy. He was pretty cute! We ate at…

  • Dad let us steer the boat, which was pretty cool. Otherwise, he did all of the steering. The bottom picture was the amazing view we had on the lake. It was truly spectacular!

  • Mom & I hung out at the front of the boat.

  • Fortunately, we didn’t catch anything. The top photo is my invention I made when our other pole broke. 

  • On our last day, we decided to rent a boat & fish on Jackson Lake. We grabbed breakfast at the bistro at our cabin & headed down to the boat ramp.
