We did two weeks of sleep away camp at Camp Granite Lake and we both had a great time!

Annie, Jason, Carlee, Clara and Isaac came to Colorado with us for the weekend. They had a wedding in Colorado Springs and stayed with us. We were busy getting ready for camp!

Alishea and Grayson (everyone climbs all over Alishea!) Our last night in Boone, we all went out to Melissa’s to catch fireflies, eat ice cream sandwiches, play DnD, and have a nerf gun war. It was a pretty perfect night (especially in the shade). We left the next day to head back to Colorado.

We caught some big ones. There was also saw a couple frogs swimming in the water and we walked along a section of the beach that was covered in little toads. 

We went to the Ledges State Park and met Zeek and Melissa, Marley, and Hendrix out there. We walked up the creek a ways catching minnows. We would put them in this bucket and then when it was time to move to the next place, we would dump the bucket and set them free.

We went to a fossil and prairie center where we dug for fossils in Rockford, IA. We didn’t realize how deep the mud was until we stepped in it. It was clay, too, so it was really hard to clean off. I was not too happy. We had to climb down in order to get…

Grayson We went to Adventureland on Sunday, but Mom didn’t get any pictures. We pretty much opened and closed the place. Wyatt and fun hanging with Ryan and riding rides with him.
