I haven’t had the best soccer season, but it’s coming to an end and I have decided to play again next year for the same team. We have a tournament this weekend and then I will be done!

Still sporting my rat tail. I’m getting ready to do all the different fortnite dances, which we will post video of eventually. We need to re-do the video because I forgot a couple. My dance recital is coming up and I am in the school musical with two performances next Wednesday. May is crazy!

Mom came to school for field day. It was hot and super fun! 480 kids out on the field and somehow they managed organization. Tomorrow is my last day of school, which is both awesome and crazy! I survived 6th grade and my first year of Middle School! I’m pretty excited about that. And I…

I was jumping at a friend’s house the other day and bumped heads with another kid on the trampoline. Here my eye is swollen, but I now have a black eye. It looks like I have blue eye shadow on. 

The other day I (Caden) was making pasta and was carrying the boiling water over to the sink to drain the noodles and I tripped. The water splashed on the countertop and then onto my back. It hurt!! It’s looking better now, but it was ugly and bubbly for a few days. Yikes!

Higgins is doing okay. His back legs are sad and cranky, but he still makes it up the stairs and is happy to eat throughout the day. He’s been getting a little sick lately, but has managed to keep it outside, which is very nice of him. He needs a brushing… Irene?

Caden had a game up in Fort Collins which is where Riley is going to school. She came to watch his game with us and then we went to see her dorm room, went out to dinner and ate ice cream. We fell in love with the town of Fort Collins. 

We had our final orchestra concert. We were pretty good. I have started taking violin lessons a couple of weeks ago and will be playing in orchestra again next year.

Meanwhile, we have a few pics from Mom’s phone. I am not loving soccer this season, but it’s getting better. Our team is really bad and we have lost almost all (if not all) of our games. I’m trying to decide what I’m going to do about next year and see if I can move…

We found this picture on the camera from Papa and Grandma’s visit in March. Papa is enjoying cuddles with Higgins, who thinks he is a lapdog. The camera is broken and in the shop, unfortunately. We are hoping to get it back soon.
