I used my bare hands to help brake and steer. We also tried riding it like a snowboard. 

We ended up going down a section where a tube had cleared the way. The tubers were very serious about their sledding though and we could tell the were annoyed any time we went off their path and ruined the edges. We did a few runs here and then decided to find a new section.

We tried all kinds of different ways to go down the hill.

And then there was the teacher’s strike. We all went to school on Monday. Wyatt stayed home Tuesday through Thursday. I stayed home Wednesday. Lau stayed home Tuesday and Wednesday. I (Wyatt) made Mom breakfast for her birthday. She was very pleased. Dad had to talk me through making coffee in the Keurig for her on FaceTime. 

I’m trying to keep my hands out of the snow, but then it was cold on my face. We took the long way around and headed back home for some hot chocolate. 

Whoops! We hit a bump and crashed!

Some of us prefer to walk on the sidewalk, others prefer to run through the snow.

Lucas and I went down together and it was super fun!
