Breaking for a moment.

Mom told us not to touch each other, so this was our pose. This was the start of our hike. I pushed it and got pretty close to the edge, but it isn’t as bad as it looks.

Taking a moment to enjoy the view. We hiked along a path at the top. One could easily get lost up there. 

We took a funicular a little further up. It was pretty steep. the view was beautiful!

Mom thought these looked like people. They were everywhere. The Basilica at Montserrat This is a little side alley next to the basilica where you can light a candle. 

I’m (Caden) am on the lower platform. You can barely see me. We went to Montserrat for a day trip and it was stunning! One of the most beautiful places we’ve seen. 

You can see how wet we are. We were not going to let the rain stop us from getting gelato, though! We found an adorable little place not far from our apartment and the woman working was very sweet. 

We made the most of it.

We walked from there to the Citadel park, but we were fading. We walked through the park just a little bit and then found what was supposed to be some of the best churros and chocolate. It was delicious!

We enjoyed the views from the roof. We then headed down to tour the apartment on the top level before moving on. We walked from there down Passeig de Gracia to see his other house, Casa Batllo. We ran into a Swigert family out front of there. We decided not to go in to this…
