We are back on the train. We had another 2+ hour train ride from Tortosa to Valencia. We are just off the train heading to our next place. Fortunately, it was only .7 miles from the train station.

We stopped at the beach for a moment to check out the kite surfers. We had the best tour guides. One of the guides has a family rice paddy farm. He took us there. They do educational tours, but we didn’t have enough time. We had to catch a train at 1:15. We did get…

When we got off the boat, we noticed this crab in the water and had to take a picture. 

The next day (Dad’s birthday) we had an amazing tour of Parc natural del delta de l’ebre. We started off on a boat up the river and then we came back down the river to see where the river met the ocean. You can kind of see in the horizon behind Caden sleeping. 

We had gelato for dinner that night and then headed back up to the castle. We explored the grounds some more and Mom and Dad had a drink on the patio before heading to bed for the night.

We walked along the river. We were still trying to make sense of this little town. 

This was at the bottom of the first hill from the castle, then we found this street took us closer to town than how we originally got up there. It was a beautiful little town.  We also stopped at this building on our way down. You can see the castle in the background.

We did some more exploring. We stayed in the tower behind us. Caden and I had the top floor and Mom and Dad had the second one. The idea of staying in a castle is much cooler than the reality. It was very loud. We are still super happy that we stayed there, but glad…

The pool was a beautiful setting. It was pretty hot, so we decided to get in, but it was freezing!! The water was so cold. I (Caden) am the only one who got all the way in. 

On the train to Tortosa. You can see the beautiful scenery out the window. We had our heads down for a good portion of the train ride.
