We had one-to-one surf instruction for much of the time which was pretty awesome.  The second two lessons were just the five of us boys. We were all catching waves together and high-fiving each other if we got close enough.

Mom came out with us to crash through waves. You can see we were pretty far out!

I got up on most of the waves during my second lesson. 

I was getting fancy with my surfing. I did some poses. I would also sit down and stand back up. I also jumped from regular to goofy and back again.

We rented boogie boards for the week & Dad and I took advantage. We were pretty good at catching the waves to ride in. 

We had so much fun playing in the waves. Some of them were huge, but we learned how to duck before they crashed on us & get under water where it was calm. We both grew quite a bit on this trip. We tried & liked a lot of foods we didn’t think we liked…
