We volunteered for Kid’s Compassion Project. We filled several backpacks with everything kids will need throughout the school year.

I wanted to take Higgins for a walk, but Mom wouldn’t let me go by myself. He’s a challenge to walk. If he sees another dog or squirrel, it’s game over. He is off. You’d never know that he was 13. He’s still doing pretty well though. He just turned 14 (or 15). We’ve had…

We opted out of our usual 4th of July celebration at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park to see the Rapids and went over to our friends house for dinner. We then walked to the end of the street to watch fireworks, which turned out to be a great place to watch them.

I (Wyatt) attempted Grandma’s cake, but I substituted a couple ingredients that didn’t work out. We’ll try again soon.

Our seats weren’t too bad! The wait was worth it. Seth Avett is running through the crowd right behind us.

Mom and I ventured around Red Rocks while we waited for the show to start. We went in to the Red Rocks Hall of Fame.
