This squirrel keeps tormenting Higgins. He is “hiding” from him.

I’ve been climbing a bunch lately. I finished Crag Akademie 1 & 2. Mom usually goes with me and I belay her. I’ve gotten so much better!

We went over to visit Marty and Vicki. Riley was there, still on winter break. We played with Marty’s (yes, Marty’s) toy trucks. They go super fast, but the battery dies pretty quickly. We also walked to Dairy Queen for some ice cream. 

We took Laura and Sofia to the zoo. Sofia had never been to a zoo before. The weather was gorgeous, but a lot of the animals were tucked away and we didn’t get to see them. It was still a nice day to be outside.

We went to a Teppanyaki restaurant and the chef invited me up to toss and crack an egg. I thought it was pretty cool. Dad has a video, which we’ll try to post. We had an amazing time in Panama! Thank you Grandma and Papa!

We went surfing! This was the surf school. They had us check out the balance board and stationary surfboard before heading out. They also had surfboard showers, which we thought were pretty cool. We met in the lobby before most meals and departures. Electronics pool side – always a good idea! We had dinner by the pool and we took some time to enjoy a game we were playing.

There was a pool close to the hotel, but it was quiet. We could walk a little closer to the beach along this path and there were several pool options with more noise and chaos. We felt like we fit in better there. Micah and I are on our way back to our rooms from…
