On Tuesday, the kids still had school, but then we had a family skate party in Ogden at the roller rink. Tristan came, too. Natalie still had to work but Papa drove to Atlantic to pick up her boys so they could join in the fun.
-
We then tried to get the cars to go fast through the water that crosses the road in hopes of a big splash while the girls and adults sat and watched.
-
Some of the grandkids. Hendrix, Marley, Carlee, me (Wyatt), Isaac, Caden Clara
-
Isaac and I had fun filling this bucket with water and then trying to swing it all the way around hoping the water didn’t fall out on top of our heads.
-
We saw this little turtle sunbathing on a rock. There was another one near by, but (for good reason) decided to stay hidden. The other is a view of the Des Moines river from lookout point.

On Sunday, the weather was gorgeous, so we headed out to Ledges State Park for a hike. Natalie wasn’t able to come back yet, and Kelly and family had something else going on. We hiked Lost Lake hike. L-R: Marley, me (Wyatt), Hendrix, Carlee, Caden, Grandma, Isaac, Clara and Papa

I was asked to be a part of a weightlifting competition by my instructor and here are some images from it. I was very proud of myself. I did not win, but I lifted the most I have ever lifted. I move up to the intermediate class starting in January.

I’m enjoying cereal for breakfast before heading to school. We have our Congressional Hearings this morning and I was rather nervous, but did really well on my presentation.
