We decided to head back to Iowa in May. We stopped at Aunt Natalie’s on our way back for a night and I fell asleep on the floor of Pearson’s bedroom with my phone in my hand. Ryan wanted to share a bed with mom, so they slept on the pull out couch.   

This is my friend Daisy. She comes over for playdates quite a bit while our moms walk in circles on the block.   

We also learned how to make crepes. These are delicious, Nutella and strawberries!!  

Another highlight, there were tons and tons of cool planes that flew over.   

Diesel! Mom’s friend’s seventh grade daughter drew this picture of her.   

This picture was taken back in the spring when we were learning remotely and had no real plan.   

We have been doing a LOT of baking. We are trying to cut back. We made a loaf of banana bread with chocolate chips. It is delicious!  

These are some trees at Papa and Grandma Iowa’s. A picture was requested before the flowers all get blown off in a storm. 

This little girl is a bit of a scrounge. We turned around and she was on the table licking a bowl. We have learned we need to push the chair in when we are done and we need to remove our bowls from the table always. She also got in to Dad’s food when he…

Our friends dropped by with eggs for each of us. They hid them in our front yard and then rang the bell and ran. They even left one for Diesel.
