On our last day in Grand Lake, we rented a pontoon boat and went out on Shadow Mountain. It was a perfect day!   

Mom and Dad went for a hike in RMN park, while we hung out at the hotel.   

Mom and I went mountain biking. This beginning part of the trail was super fun and we kept riding up and back down.   

We hiked up toAdam’s Falls and a little beyond. The weather was amazing!  

We saw a lot of moose. Mom and Dad saw more. Each night they would go in to the park after closing and there’s a spot on the west side where we have always seen moose. Caden and I would stay back at our hotel and play on our phones.

We went kayaking in Grand Lake and took the little inlet to Shadow Mountain Lake. The wind started to pick up. Dad and Wyatt decided to head straight across the lake to take their boats out and Mom and I continued to circumnavigate, which became very challenging for our final paddle back to the dock.…

We drove up Trail Ridge road to where it was closed in hopes of finding a clearer answer. All they could tell us was it might open that afternoon, but they couldn’t guarantee anything or a time. We decided to go around the long way.   

The moose finally moved on and we ran in to these Big Horn Sheep.  

We got up and went in to the park pretty early. We had to have a timed entrance due to Covid-19. We were waiting for mid-day in hopes that the road would open by the time we were ready to head to Grand Lake. As soon as we got in to the park, we saw…
