We rode Little Scraggy in Pine, Co, which was about 1.5 hours in to the mountains. The mountain bike team was doing it the next day, but we wanted to do it at our own pace. We loved the first part of it, then there was some serious climbing (total of 1450′). I got so mad half way up, I threw my bike and helmet and had a moment. Then Mom made me eat something and I came around. We finally made it to the top and had a blast riding down the switch backs. We thought we were done climbing and found that we still had three miles of climbing once we got to the bottom to get back to the parking lot. We’ll go back because overall it was one of our favorite trails so far, but it was hard.
