We then stopped to feed tarpon. They would come eat little fish right out of our hands. We headed back to a restaurant on the island where our food was waiting for us, ate lunch and took a nap on our 45 minute boat ride. On our way, we saw a hammerhead shark eating a sting ray. It was sad and amazing. It was quite a struggle, which we were surprised about. The shark even went under our boat while trying to wrestle the ray. Shortly after that, we saw two dolphins swimming in the ocean. We felt pretty lucky. We were supposed to go to Honduras the next day, but sea conditions kept us from safely approaching land, so we had a couple (rough) days at sea before returning to Miami. Overall, it was a great trip with lots of fun memories and a few imperfect moments.
