We left Friday night and flew to Houston. We spent the night there after arriving super late. Our flight got in at 10:15pm, but there was a thunderstorm, so we had to sit on the plane for an hour and a half. We eventually made it to our hotel, got about 5 hours of sleep before getting up to head back to the airport. We flew to Managua, took a shuttle to lunch in Granada at the Garden Cafe. The shuttle then took us to Rancho Santana. That night, we opted for in-home dinner. We asked for the Nicaraguan feast as a welcome to Nicaragua. It was delicious! We sat outside on the patio to eat. The next morning, we made eggs, bacon & had leftover beans and rice. It was delicious!
